With so many cameras now capable of shooting above HD resolutions, raw, or log material, the need for viable post and deliverables solutions will only continue to grow. There are many obvious advantages to using a complete system that incorporates ingest, metadata management, look creation, and dailies deliverables – Colorfront Express Dailies is one such system. Expanding on an already robust feature set, Express Dailies 2014 adds additional hardware support for the newest generation NVIDIA GPUs, and for the first time, ATI FirePro cards, including those found in the new Mac Pro.

The new graphics hardware support enables background rendering for 4K display, deBayering, and deliverables. Additionally, a new timeline user interface, 2K/3K/4K/5K/6K outputs, and enhanced LUT capabilities round out an already powerful system.

You can read the official press release to learn more about the upgrades to On-Set Dailies, Express Dailies, and Transkoder. If you’re in the NYC area, there’s still time to RSVP for tonights Express Dailies event, which will include demonstrations of On-Set Live!, the live grading component included with Dailies 2013 and 2014.
