Though the Canon C500 is built on the same foundation as the popular C300, there are a few differences that may influence what accessories or lenses you choose, most notably the ability to output 10 or 12-bit video, as well as 4K (both DCI and Quad-HD) RAW output. If you missed it when it went live last week, I put together a list of lenses and accessories such as support systems and external recorders to help make rigging up the C500 a little easier.

If you’re interested in spending a whole day getting to know the ins-and-outs and the unique features of the C500, our Canon C300/C500 Workshop is coming up soon in NY and LA!
