Matthews Studio Equipment’s new Floatcam sliders combine the functions of a jib arm, dolly, traditional slider and even timelapse rig all in a single portable unit. Using a moving counterweight, the Floatcam DC Slider can support 22lbs of camera and head with 63″ of travel; it can also mount on a standard tripod. The Floatcam HD DC Slider can support up to 70lbs of camera and head. A motorized, programmable motion control system is available for the Floatcam DC and Floatcam HD DC – however, the sliders can also be operated manually. Watch my video above to learn more.
