Paralinx is a new company that debuted their first product at Cine Gear 2012. The Paralinx Arrow is a low-cost HDMI video transmitter that is small, low-powered, uncompressed with very low latency and is simple to use. The petite transmitter and receiver lock to one another (unit-to-unit encrypted) with a range of at least 150 feet; multiple transmitter-receiver pairs can even be used in the same location. In the video, an ARRI ALEXA is shown outputting an HD-SDI signal into a Decimator 2 converter to get an HDMI output for the Arrow to transmit. The Paralinx Arrow should be shipping by the end of the month; watch my video above to learn more.
