Since its release in September, the Phantom Flex, from Vision Research, has been used on commercial and feature film shoots around the world, capturing stunning images in both 2D and 3D. Already being asked for by name, the Flex is surpassing expectations as it redefines the high-speed camera landscape.

In this Introduction to the Phantom Flex, Abel’s Phantom specialists review the capabilities of the Flex that set it apart, such as frame rates, sensitivity and ease of use. They also discuss the power of motion pictures to reveal what has never been seen before – a power that goes back to the beginning of cinema.

The video also includes a few teaser shots from an upcoming short, shot entirely on the Flex, by award-winning filmmaker Brendan Bellomo and cinematographer Greg Wilson, as well as footage of galloping horses from Phantom pioneer and DP Steve Romano.

This video is available to watch in HD on our Vimeo and YouTube channels.
